Geeta Stationery & Printer in Mumbai’s Andheri West is a preferred center for premium graphic prints and finished products. Two newly installed Canon digital production presses — an imagePRESS V770 with additional features and an imageFORCE 8186 monochrome master for high-volume print production – have helped Geeta Stationery print its graphics in richer colors on a broader media range.

“The arrival of the iPR V770 and iF 8186 mark a new journey to another level of quality printing, versatile applications, and faster turnarounds. The newly introduced iPR V770 boasts some additional features such as an integrated air-assist tray for speeding up jobs while feeding coated papers continuously with less mid-way interruptions,” says Hiren Patel, proprietor of Geeta Stationery & Printer. He added, “We also installed the monochrome iF 8186 press simultaneously for high-volume print production. The two new Canon production presses upped our confidence to produce out-of-the-box graphic prints in vivid colors and sharp monochrome textures.”

The two newly arrived iPR V770 and iF 8186 at Geeta Stationery & Printer have joined other machines such as an iPR C710 already running at the print shop’s production facility. “Canon machines are not new to us. However, the recent purchase of the two new production engines from Canon India is a strategic move for us to utilize the latest and most upgraded features of Canon technology for another level of print quality and productivity. Both machines have advanced features and capabilities, particularly the iPR V770,” noted Patel.

In addition to the newly added integrated air-assist tray, a first in the industry, the iPR V770 is capable of delivering vibrant prints in more vivid reds and richer blues. The press’ newly developed tonner density management is for printing small texts in exceptional clarity. With broader media versatility, the iPR V770 is compatible with varieties of stocks ranging from 52 gsm to 350 gsm.

It operates at the speeds of 81 ppm and 77 ppm (pages per min) handling stocks of 52 gsm to 256 gsm from the standard and new air-assist trays respectively. Moreover, it also handles coated media between 70 gsm and 350 gsm with ease, while the varieties consist of labels, envelopes, textured and synthetic materials.

Compact and robust, the iF 8186 is a heavy-duty machine capable to operate at the speeds up to 85 ppm for high-volume office, copy room and related print jobs. “The latest upgrade of our machine portfolio with the new iPR V770 and iF 8186 has empowered us to handle a new range of media for newer applications which in turn impress our exciting customers as well as new ones in and around Mumbai,” Patel said.

Geeta Stationery & Printer prints business cards, catalogs, filers, brochures, inserts apart from post-press jobs.
