A compact digital color production press with additional features made suitably for India, the Canon imagePRESS V770 was launched in the country in May this year and gaining demand among digital print shops across the country.
Gorakhpur-based Om A to Z Printing, a one-stop commercial digital print shop known for its graphic prints, is the first proud adopter of the Canon iPR V770 in Purvanchal, a region that covers 32 districts around Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Azamgarh in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
The Second machine from Canon India at Om A to Z Printing, the all-new iPR V770 has changed digital printing at the print shop, redefining vividness of colors, media versatility, and many other advantages. Yogesh Pal of Om A to Z Printing said, “After the Canon imagePROGRAF TM-5350 large-format printer from Canon India, a fully satisfied machine for stunning posters & big graphics, we now change the game of commercial digital printing with the iPR V770. Superior print quality, vibrant & accurate colors, faster production, and premium finishing are what we manage using the new Canon press.”
He added, “Prior to our final decision on the purchase of iPR V770, we had done a small R&D by visiting a friend’s production unit in Gorakhpur city with an iPR V700. It was then when we clearly came to know about the compactness and capabilities of the newly launched Canon digital press through its predecessor model. After we adopted the iPR V770 a month ago, we have the feeling that a new revolution in digital printing has begun in Gorakhpur and Purvanchal.”
A next-generation digital color production press, the iPR V770 is reshaping digital printing in India. It delivers vibrant prints with vivid reds and richer blues. With its newly developed toner density management, the iPR V770 prints small texts in exceptional clarity. “So far, whatever we produced on this new Canon press is spectacular in quality, colors, textures, etc. Most of our customers say ‘wow’ to every piece of print,” noted Yogesh. He continued, “It’s truly a machine made for India.”
The iPR V770’s newly added integrated air-assist tray is designed to process job with fewer interruptions, particularly when feeding coated papers. It is capable of printing media from 52–350 gsm. It can operate at the speed of 81 ppm & 77 ppm (pages per minute) on media ranging from 52 gsm to 256 gsm from Standard and New Integrated Air-Assist Tray respectively.
