The clock is ticking away for the International News Media Organization’s (INMA) South Asia News Media Festival, which returns to New Delhi from 20 to 23 July 2026. The event comprises a study tour and a conference, attended by leaders and stakeholders from the news media fraternity.
Over four days, participants will go behind the scenes of the region’s leading innovators, challenge assumptions, compare strategies, and leave with the industry’s most actionable playbooks. Experience the frameworks powering South Asia’s top newsrooms, uncover breakthrough audience and revenue strategies, and connect directly with the leaders shaping the future of South Asian media.
In the study tour on 20–21 July, participants will have the opportunity to go inside Delhi’s most influential media houses, innovation hubs, start-ups, and adjacent industries. They will see firsthand how leading players are building scale, launching new revenue streams, and deploying AI in the real world. Benchmark, ask hard questions, and take home what works.
The conference on 22–23 July at Roseate House, Aerocity, Delhi, will discuss strategies, case studies, and tools tailored to South Asia’s realities.
Day 1 of the conference explores how South Asian publishers can strengthen trust, sharpen brand distinctiveness, and build deeper audience habit. From print premium and AI in the newsroom to creators, CTV, and generational renewal, the focus is on staying relevant in a disrupted market. The day looks at how legacy strengths can be modernised for new platforms, formats, and expectations.
Day 2 focuses on the commercial and operational playbook publishers need for the next phase of growth. Sessions explore advertising value beyond traffic, first-party data, GenAI, automation, branded content, video, and SME revenue.
The emphasis is on building stronger products, smarter workflows, and more durable business models. At its core, the day is about turning change into practical advantage.
