PubliCon 2020 – Economics of Publishing


FICCI is organising PubliCon 2020 – Economics of Publishing, on 9 January 2020, at FICCI, New Delhi. PubliCon is a platform to enable the publishing sector realize its true potential and contribute to India’s knowledge economy. The program witnesses congregation of publishers, distributors, content creators, librarians, authors, story-tellers, digital marketers, IP attorneys and other stakeholders in the publishing sector.

Some of the discussion areas at PubliCon 2020 include issues related to distribution, unrealistic discounts, taxation issues, parallel imports and loss due to piracy and counterfeiting.

FICCI Publishing Awards would also be conferred during PubliCon 2020, to recognize excellence in children’s literature (English and Hindi) and business books.
