Wan-Ifra recently announced that it has decided to postpone the Newsroom Leaders initiative from the World Editors Forum and Wan-Ifra. It is a module-based learning workshop program intended to improve the knowledge of editors and journalists. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this event is postponed as Wan-Ifra believes that the safety and health of participants and course leaders are of utmost importance.

These events will now take place from 27 to 30 May 2020 and 1 to 4 June 2020. The Newsroom Leaders module will have the Dunamic Journalism module on 27 May 2020 at Delhi, Maximizing the impact of your investigative journalism on 28 May 2020 at Delhi, Audience Development Program on 29 and 30 May 2020 in Delhi. While its modules scheduled to be conducted in Chennai are, advanced data mapping for journalists on 1 and 2 June 2020 and newsroom leadership and change management on 3 and 4 June 2020.
