Brijbala Offset Printers in Gorakhpur is a prominent offset printing company in the Purvanchal region of eastern Uttar Pradesh. The company has ventured into digital printing with the installation of a brand-new Canon imagePress V770 digital color production press. Its first from Canon India, this new digital press is a compact yet highly capable machine with new features, designed to produce oversized graphic prints in outstanding color vibrancy, sharp details, and crisp textures.
Rahul Dubey, proprietor of Brijbala Offset Printers, said, “We have just entered the digital printing arena to tap the ever-growing business opportunities and prospects in this segment, where short-run, bespoke, and personalized graphic prints, along with an extended range of innovative finished products, are gaining new ground. These are areas that would have been difficult to address through traditional printing technologies. It’s just the beginning for us now with newly installed Canon iPR V770, which we chose for its advanced features and capabilities that tick all the boxes of our digital printing requirements.”
An easy-to-use digital color production press with advanced and modern features, the iPR V770 at Brijbala stands out for its new features and capabilities to produce quality prints across varieties of media. “When we decided to enter commercial digital printing, we were initially a little uncertain about which machine and brand would be suitable for us. It was then that we came across the iPR V770, a latest and upgraded model launched in India by Canon India in May this year,” Dubey said.
When it comes to color quality, the iPR V770 is designed with enhanced capabilities to produce more vivid reds and richer blues, which customers nowadays in India are demanding. The press’ newly developed toner density management system ensures exceptional print quality, particularly for smaller texts.
Another notable addition is its new Air-Assist Tray, which facilitates continuous feeding of coated media with minimal interruptions. The iPR V770 operates at 81 ppm and 77 ppm (pages per minute) when handling media from 52 gsm to 300 gsm through its Standard Tray and the newly added Air-Assist Tray, respectively. It supports coated media ranging from 70gsm to 350 gsm, which consists of labels, envelopes, textured stocks, and synthetic materials.
With the new iPR V700, Brijbala Offset Printers starts producing premium graphics in vivid colors and crisp textures, and an array of finished products like catalogs, business cards, wedding cards, invitation cards, fliers, inserts, booklets, calendars, and more. Dubey commented, “Now that we have started our digital printing journey with the new iPR V770, we look forward to further expanding this venture by strengthening our partnership with Canon India,” Dubey said.
“In addition to the advanced machines they provide, we are satisfied with the way Canon India’s post-sales support team is helping us. Their availability whenever needed, irrespective of the time or circumstances, is truly remarkable. This is something many don’t normally experience with other machine suppliers,” Dubey said.
