Epson, a global leader in imaging and printing solutions, has announced the launch of the new Epson WorkForce DS-530III, an A4 duplex sheet-fed colour scanner designed to help businesses scan documents faster and manage digital workflows more efficiently.
The compact scanner combines high-speed scanning, intelligent document protection and flexible media handling in a space-saving design. It is suited for offices and businesses that need to scan large volumes of documents as part of their day-to-day operations. The scanner comes with a 3-year warranty, offering added peace of mind and reliability for businesses.
The WorkForce DS-530III scans up to 40ppm/80ipm and handles up to 6,500 pages a day. Its automatic feeding mode makes it easy to scan multiple documents, including different-sized pages, in one go.
The scanner features Epson’s Paper Protection and Double Feed Detection Skip (DFDS) technology to detect abnormal paper feeds and safely scan documents with folds and stickers, reducing the risk of damage. Its glass dirt detection feature alerts users when dirt is detected, helping reduce re-scans and maintain consistent scan quality.
The WorkForce DS-530III features an easy-to-use control panel and one-touch scanning for quick access to frequently used functions. Its one-pass duplex scanning captures both sides of a document at once, while carrier sheet support makes it easy to scan fragile or irregular-sized documents. Ultrasonic and length detection help identify overlapping and long documents for accurate scanning.
For additional scanning flexibility, the WorkForce DS-530III can be paired with the Epson Perfection V39II flatbed photo scanner using an optional flatbed dock. This enables users to scan thicker materials such as books and fragile documents such as receipts, while maintaining a compact workspace.
The WorkForce DS-530III comes with Epson Scan 2 and Document Capture Pro software for easy document management. It improves scan quality, creates searchable PDFs with OCR, and helps organize files. It also recognizes barcodes and blank pages and supports up to 30 customized scan settings for faster, easier scanning.
