The Epson SureColor V4000 UV flatbed printer

Epson, a global leader in professional printing, announced the launch of the Epson SureColor V4000 UV Flatbed Printer, a specialized printer that prints directly onto solid objects and materials instead of paper. Designed for businesses creating customized and value-added products, it delivers vibrant, durable prints on surfaces such as wood, acrylic, glass, metal, plastic, leather, ceramic tiles, and promotional merchandize including phone covers, keychains, pens, and gift items.

Using UV light to instantly dry and harden the ink, the printer produces scratch-resistant prints that are ready for immediate use. The printer is ideally suited for signage makers, print service providers, promotional merchandise businesses, interior décor manufacturers, and custom product creators, addressing the growing demand for personalized and on demand printing applications in India.

Combining a compact footprint with high image quality and productivity, the Epson SureColor V4000 UV Flatbed Printer supports media up to A1+ size and 20 cm in thickness. It complements the existing Epson SureColor V7000 UV Flatbed Printer, extending Epson’s UV portfolio across a broader range of production environments, from compact businesses to high-volume industrial operations.

Powered by Epson’s 10-color UltraChrome UV ink set, including White and Varnish inks, the printer supports textured, gloss, and multi-layer printing while featuring automatic media height adjustment and front-access maintenance for ease of use.

“As India’s printing industry continues to embrace digital and value-added applications, we see significant growth potential for UV printing across segments. The Epson SureColor V4000 UV Flatbed Printer reinforces Epson’s commitment to bringing innovative technologies to the market and enabling businesses to tap into emerging opportunities with confidence,” said Prabagaran S, senior general manager, sales and marketing, Epson India.

The Epson SureColor V4000 UV Flatbed Printer will be available in India from July 2026.
