Kanpur-based SK Graphics has chosen a  Canon imagePRESS V1350, is one of the latest additions to Canon’s line of V-Series digital production presses, to produce high-end digital printing on diverse media. A prominent commercial print shop, SK Graphics provides premium-quality graphic prints and a range of finished-products to customers from diverse sectors. The installation of the iPR V1350 has enabled SK Graphics to handle dynamic prints produced on heavier and specialty media.

Ashutosh Saha of SK Graphics says, “We are proud to be the first owner of the iPR V1350 in Uttar Pradesh. Our customers are primarily from Kanpur. Since installing this imagePRESS Series machine in January this year, we have been offering our customers a wider range of print applications with refined textures and clarity. We have chosen the iPR V1350 for its additional advanced features, including the media flexibility as it seamlessly handles a wide selection of heavy grammage papers and other materials.”

When it comes to printing on heavyweight media and such stocks, iPR V1350 supports a broad array of papers starting from 60 gsm up to 500 gsm, including embossed, coated, synthetic, bond, and more. In addition to its media flexibility, iPR V1350 is acclaimed for its exceptional performance and productivity. Built with extra focus on speed, durability, and precision, this Canon digital color production workhorse operates at a speed of 135 pages per minute (ppm) to deliver graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi.

“The addition of the iPR V1350 to our production facility has enabled us to turn around even the demanding high-volume jobs so quickly without compromising on quality,” Saha said, adding, “A lot of technological enhancements, including the automation features of this new Canon production press, have enhanced our digital printing performance. With the iPR V1350, we have overcome some production challenges such as printing on heavy stocks and on-time delivery of prints and finished products on the strictest deadlines of customers.”

Founded by Sukumar Saha in 2017, SK Graphics has been a source of all varieties of high-quality graphic prints and finished products such as business cards, coupons, brochures, catalogs, and more. A team of skilled and experienced staff is productively handling the print shop’s production facility where the iPR V1350 shares space with a host of other machines including some advanced Konica Minolta digital color production presses, a line of finishing equipment, and many others.

“The new iPR V1350 is the first machine from Canon India in our production facility,” Saha said, adding they are fully satisfied with the new Canon digital color production press which ticks all the boxes of their requirements, which primarily include printing on heavy grammage media.
