Komori India has announced that 59 brand new sheet-fed offset presses from its Lithrone and Enthrone series were installed at leading printing and packaging companies across the country in FY 2025-26. Of them, 43 were for commercial and 16 for packaging printing.

A popular model from Komori India’s current press portfolio, the Lithrone GL437 topped the 59 new installations. This 37-inch offset press is versatile for high-quality commercial, packaging, and publishing printing.

Other sought-after models in the list were the Lithrone GL740A, Enthrone EG4/529, Enthrone E429, Lithrone GL4/540A, Lithrone GL640A, Lithrone GL240P, Lithrone GL4/529, Lithrone GL729, Lithrone LP 140, and Lithrone GL840A.

The 59 presses installed across the length and breadth of India include both new and existing clients. Geographically, North witnessed the maximum number of installations with 33. Next came up South and West with a total of 24 machines—12 each in both regions. Of the total 12 new installations in West, Gujarat alone had 6. East had just 2 new installations.

The company said the installations at printing, packaging, and publishing domains were largely driven by its plans to tap into fresh print innovations and productivity.  A wholly-owned subsidiary of Komori Corporation Japan, Komori India has been active over the last seven years in the country with the gradual expansion of its machine installation base.

Jun Sudo, president, Komori India, said the overall achievements in FY25-26 is an outcome of the team’s commitment as well as the new prospects and possibilities the company offers with the latest Lithrone and Enthrone presses.

We have a clear focus on providing sustainable, automated, user-centric, and economical solutions. For instance, our G-Series presses, where ‘G’ stands for green, combine energy-saving technologies and waste-reduction features without compromising on productivity. These are the key factors that make our presses stand apart in the market nowadays,” Sudo said.

Such extensive adoptions of the Komori presses by different printers from diverse industries signify a change in adoption of modern machines and technologies that reduce human intervention and boost efficiency, the company announced.

Jitender Rohilla, general manager–sales, Komori India, said FY 25-26 was a landmark period for Komori India. “This achievement underlines the true value of brand Komori and recognizes the rapid market demand for the latest Komori presses being upgraded with modern features, including automation. We are really delighted to celebrate this phenomenal achievement.”
