Delhi’s Shyam Electrostat with a new Canon imagePRESS

An old bastion in Delhi’s commercial digital printing landscape, Shyam Electrostat serves as a treasure trove of all kinds of graphic prints and finished products. Established in 1990, this print shop has been a fan of Canon printing technology for decades. Its production facility is equipped with an array of Canon presses, the latest addition being the imagePRESS V900, a compact digital color production press with oversized productivity.

Backed by a team of 100 printing and production professionals, Shyam Electrostat provides a range of end-products such as brochures, catalogs, letterheads, booklets, posters, among others. The shop also offers pre-press as well as post-press jobs such as scanning, hard binding, lamination, etc, which makes it a one-stop corner for complete printing & post-printing solutions for customers from the corporate sector, different businesses and all walks of life.

Manoj Kumar Singhal, proprietor of Shyam Electrostat, narrates, “All the time, we don’t sit idle when it comes to upgrading our machine portfolio with the latest systems. It helps us meet the changing or increasing demands for innovative graphic prints or finished products in the market.”

“The recent addition of the new iPR V900 to our facility is strategic because this Canon digital color production system can cater high-end graphics in vivid colours which other presses in its class cannot,” he says.

According to Singhal, Shyam Electrostat runs a total of 20 Canon machines of different models and configurations, including the newly arrived iPR V900. Of them, 15 machines are monochrome digital presses and 4 are Océ Plotwave and imagePROGRAF plotters for large-format poster and promotional signage graphics. “Such heterogeneity of machines and technologies in our facility has made us a one-stop corner for complete graphic prints and solutions we cater as per our clients’ sheer demands and requirements.”

On choosing the new iPR V900, Singhal says the compact Canon digital press is pushing the bar of quality printing to a new level. “Technically, its features and capabilities are magnificent,” he adds. Certainly, the iPR V900 is truly a magnificent digital press capable to print at the speed up to 90 A4ppm compatibly on varieties of lightweight and heavyweight media ranging from 52gsm to 350gsm for producing graphic prints in resolution of 2400x2400dpi.

On the eCommerce front, Shyam Electrostat operates the Eprintcafe.com as an initiative of its India Inttech where customers can log in to place hassle-free orders for printing anything from any part of the globe. “Having been serving customers demanding diverse print applications through our www.eprintcafe.com worldwide, we at the same time constantly upgrade our machine portfolio with the latest colour laser printer, inkjet large-format engines for short-run jobs. In this, we keep expanding our portfolio of Canon production presses. Thanks to the team Canon India to be part of our journey so far, amiably and supportively,” conveys Singhal. In recognition of its digital printing excellence, Eprintcafe.com has been honoured with Bharat Udhyam Award 2025 this year.
