Insight Print Communications, a channel partner for HP Latex machines in India for signage printing, has announced its participation in the Eastern Signage Exhibition, scheduled to be held from 15-17 March 2024 in Kolkata. At the show, the company is launching the HP Latex 630W, which will take center stage at its stand (ES 62).
Insight, with an expansive presence across the country encompassing 12 offices and 10 service locations, has solidified its footprint in East India following the successful acquisition of Trisita Marketing in 2022.
HP’s latest innovation, the HP Latex 630W, is designed for the signage and decor industry. Celebrating the 15th anniversary of the HP Latex water-based technology, which has seen a remarkable growth of 78,000 machines sold globally in recent years, the Latex 630W promises to revolutionize the industry as the most affordable 64-inch wide-format white ink machine.
This machine comes with 4th generation ink formulation giving vibrant colors and a wider color gamut. It is equipped with HP’s pixel control technology for smooth gradients and outstanding color prints. It needs 30% less heat to cure ink enabling print on even heat-sensitive materials, giving more media versatility.
According to Ujjwala Upadhyay, brand manager of the company, the HP Latex 630W is a fourth-generation latex machine. “It has CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white, optimizer, and clear coat. It targets the signage and decor segment, for applications such as vinyl printing, wallpaper printing, vehicle wrap, traffic signage, canvas printing, backlit and translit printing,” she said.
“This is the most affordable entry-level machine among the white ink machines,” Upadhyay says. “Signage is moving towards sustainable solutions and HP Latex is the most sustainable platform with the highest environmental credentials such as ecologo and greenguard gold certification. It produces prints with Zero VOC with the additional feature of being odorless. Any platform that is green with minimal environmental footprints will be the future of the signage industry.”
The HP Latex 630W delivers a speed of 190 sq ft/hr, ensuring not just speed but precision that captures 4-point text sharpness, thanks to its non-circular printhead nozzles. The Latex inks, containing 60% water, are an environmental triumph, emitting zero VOC during printing, allowing one to put up this machine even in office spaces. Additionally, with prints being odorless, it becomes an ideal choice for wallpaper and indoor applications for retail branding or areas such as schools, hospitals, and public places.
“We’re super pumped for the big launch, our whole team is excited,” says Adhish Aggarwal, regional head of Insight Print Communications, who will be present for the launch. “We can’t wait to roll out the red carpet and offer our customers to be the first to experience this product over the three days of the exhibition,” he said.
The HP Latex 630 series comes with PrintOS, a platform that provides ease of control and accessibility. PrintOS enables brand owners to monitor their machines seamlessly from any location at any time. This level of flexibility ensures that you are always in charge, whether you’re at the helm or on the go. You can remotely access crucial job information such as ink consumption and production performance. It’s like having your print shop at your fingertips, no matter where you are, according to a company release.
But PrintOS goes beyond monitoring – it’s a hub for learning. PrintOS Learn provides an invaluable resource center for individuals operating the machine. This learning center equips operators with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the potential of the machine. The HP Latex 630 series is equipped with a front panel with 10 GB storage, which can store and reprint previous jobs.
