Following the successful acquisition of Trisita marketing’s business last year, Insight Print Communications, a leading player in the printing industry, has announced the acquisition of Caldron’s sign and display division. This acquisition further solidifies Insight’s position in the market, particularly in the sale and support of the HP Latex range of wide-format printers.

Insight Print Communications and Caldron have established themselves as the premier channel partners of HP for the latex range of wide-format printing solutions over the past 15 years. With a market-leading position, HP Latex has become synonymous with Green Printing Solution in India, boasting an installation base of approximately 2,800 machines across the country.

Print service providers (PSPs) and corporates highly value HP Latex for its water-based eco-friendly ink technology, further solidifying its positioning as the preferred choice in the wide-format industry.

Ajay Aggarwal, MD and CEO of Insight Print Communications, said, “This strategic decision will enable us to redirect our efforts toward enhancing the value we bring to our customers. Insight has been on a high growth trajectory since the pandemic, and we have plans to grow both organically as well as through inorganic means. Insight incorporated its vision to ‘help the print industry transition to digital’ after diluting our stake in the Komori range of analog offset press sales business.”

Rajat Mitra, proprietor of Caldron Graphics, said, “Caldron is embarking on developing solutions that are made in India. The distribution business was not in line with our future plans. We, therefore, decided to sell the HP Latex division and will be using the proceeds from this sale to invest in the state-of-the-art factory that is being built.”

“At Insight, we are driven by a strong vision of promoting sustainable and digital printing technology across India. Our unwavering commitment lies in helping Indian Print Service Providers (PSPs) reduce their environmental footprints. In line with this vision,  we have also  introduced a revolutionary digital book printing solution to our portfolio. This ground breaking addition is poised to revolutionize the landscape of book printing in India,” said Adhish Aggarwal, discussing Insight’s vision and future expansion.

Insight Print Communications is known as a comprehensive one-stop solution, catering to a wide array of print verticals. From sign and display to digital textile printing, digital embellishment, and finishing, Insight Print Communications offers a broad range of products to meet diverse printing and finishing requirements.
