SASG UV Solutions, a subsidiary of Dizario Industries, is a manufacturer and supplier of UV solutions and other products for the printing industry. Among other things, it offers LED UV systems, interdeck systems, anilox coating attachments, roller-coater machines, screen-printing machines, tabletop curing systems, UV conveyors, and UV curing systems.

As part of its growth trajectory, the company plans to be a dealer for Baldwin India for chilling plants and damping systems. “We will go for other postpress machines such as a flute laminator and an automatic folder gluer machine, but that will happen next year,” Sankoch Gaur, technical director, SASG UV Solutions, says.

SASG will be present at Pamex 2023 in Mumbai from 23 to 30 March, at stand-C20, hall number 1, as the company website mentioned.

Delivering an entire range of solutions for UV printing and packaging as well as for chilling plants and the refrigeration industry, the company has two plants in Faridabad – one for the printing industry and the other for chilling plants. Till now, it has installed more than 500 chiller units for plastic, beverage, and printing.

According to Gaur, the company provides UV and LED UV coating solutions for labels, sheetfed, and gravure applications. “We upgrade our products according to the requirements. We have converted UV into LED UV, which is power-saving. We have exported our products to seven countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and some Gulf nations. We produce machines for postpress, which are mainly used in packaging and a bit in commercial printing. Our LEDs are an integrated part of the presses of Komori, Heidelberg, and others. They are user-friendly and can fit into any machine.”

In 2020, SASG started with the plastic industry and then went on to establish chilling plants and cooling towers. It installed its first LED system in Bangladesh in 2019 and then in Dubai in 2020. It claims it controls more than 35% share of the Indian UV printing and coating market and has done more than 300 LED installations in India.

We have multi-wavelength UV systems depending on the applications. We are manufacturing a separate machine for blister packaging. In PrintPack India 2022, we launched a machine named drip master that fulfills all kinds of coating demands. We are a major provider of pouches and rigid boxes,” Gaur said.

Sharing his views on the packaging industry, he said, “The industry’s future is bright because demand is rising. It is on its way to becoming more environmentally-friendly. It will grow exponentially in the next 2-3 years.”

In 2024, we are looking at full recovery and growth-led investment in Indian printing

Indian Printer and Publisher founded in 1979 is the oldest B2B trade publication in the multi-platform and multi-channel IPPGroup. It created the category of privately owned B2B print magazines in the country. And by its diversification in packaging, (Packaging South Asia), food processing and packaging (IndiFoodBev) and health and medical supply chain and packaging (HealthTekPak), and its community activities in training, research, and conferences (Ipp Services, Training and Research) the organization continues to create platforms that demonstrate the need for quality information, data, technology insights and events.

India is a large and tough terrain and while its book publishing and commercial printing industry have recovered and are increasingly embracing digital print, the Indian newspaper industry continues to recover its credibility and circulation. The signage industry is also recovering and new technologies and audiences such as digital 3D additive printing, digital textiles, and industrial printing are coming onto our pages. Diversification is a fact of life for our readers and like them, we will also have to adapt with agility to keep up with their business and technical information needs.

India is one of the fastest growing economies in nominal and real terms – in a region poised for the highest change in year to year expenditure in printing equipment and consumables. Our 2024 media kit is ready, and it is the right time to take stock – to emphasize your visibility and relevance to your customers and turn potential markets into conversations.
