Arrow Digital with the installation of Canon Colorado 1650 at their experience centre in Ahmedabad. The Arrow demo centre takes digital printing/finishing to a new level and always leads the industry with many new technologies/applications.

The Canon’s FLXfinish curing technology makes it easy to produce both gloss and matte finishes without the need to change inks or media. The FLXfinish also enhances the printer’s handling of porous materials such as soft signage and uncoated media because its UVgel technology ensures that each ink droplet is immediately fixed on the media, allowing for highly controlled dot gain and more precise image quality.

The Canon Colorado is designed for sign makers, print service providers and in-house printers, which need superior print quality of 1,800 dpi with a highly durable, odorless and instantly dry finish on almost any media for unlimited applications. In its fastest print mode, which is ideal for applications such as outdoor banners and billboards. Canon Colorado Series, you can produce designer wallpapers, stunning decals, or luxurious front and backlits that make people stop and take notice while meeting tight deadlines with a low cost of ownership. The home décor and other wallpaper markets are growing rapidly and clients. Designers, interior decorators and architects are demanding innovative, green and great looking products and designs. This will bring the experience in-house for a lot of them with our wallpaper factory synchronized with the inline finisher from Fotoba.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to the country-wide lockdown on 25 March 2020. It will be two years tomorrow as I write this. What have we learned in this time? Maybe the meaning of resilience since small companies like us have had to rely on our resources and the forbearance of our employees as we have struggled to produce our trade platforms.

The print and packaging industries have been fortunate, although the commercial printing industry is still to recover. We have learned more about the digital transformation that affects commercial printing and packaging. Ultimately digital will help print grow in a country where we are still far behind in our paper and print consumption and where digital is a leapfrog technology that will only increase the demand for print in the foreseeable future.

Web analytics show that we now have readership in North America and Europe amongst the 90 countries where our five platforms reach. Our traffic which more than doubled in 2020, has at times gone up by another 50% in 2021. And advertising which had fallen to pieces in 2020 and 2021, has started its return since January 2022.
