Parksons Graphics, a renowned print service provider located in Andheri West, Mumbai, has achieved G7 Master Qualification, awarded by Idealliance, a not-forprofit industry group dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications and standards worldwide. Parksons Graphics joins a select group of print service providers (PSPs) who have successfully completed training, examination and qualification process of their print production processes, validating their capabilities to the highest level of global industry standards and specifications.

G7 is Idealliance’s industry leading set of best practices for achieving gray balance and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. The application of this method enables printers to reproduce a similar visual appearance across all printing types and substrates.

Parksons Graphics offers state of-the-art printing and publishing solutions utilizing best of the industry equipment. Already an efficient PSP, Parksons Graphics looked to Certified G7 Expert and Trainer, Steve Smiley and the Idealliance G7 Master Program, to achieve further productivity gains to better serve its customers’ objectives for brand color quality and control.

“Proper grays are a basic requirement to achieve correct colors on different substrates. G7 calibrations also help to reproduce similar colors in repetitive print orders and maintain consistency in different print runs,” says Animesh Kejriwal, production director of Parksons Graphics. “Our commitment to the G7 method is just one example of how we’re maximizing our performance to the benefit of our customers. We look forward to the benefits that standardization brings to both our clients and the organization.”

“We applaud Parksons Graphics for utilizing the G7 Master Program to assure consistency and quality in their proofing, brand color management and print processes,” commented Steve Bonoff for Idealliance. “G7 Master Qualification demonstrates a level of control and expertise that places Parksons Graphics at the top of their field. We applaud their leadership, commitment and support of the G7 Master Qualification Program.”

About Idealliance and Idealliance India

Idealliance is where media creators and technology communities collaborate to craft best practices, advance standards, and certify people, processes and systems to achieve the highest performance in creation, production and delivery of graphic communications.

Idealliance and Idealliance India were instrumental in bringing Steve Smiley to India to explain G7 practice to brand owners and converters and to demonstrate what it can achieve in print color standardization. In fact, Smiley conducted G7 training in Mumbai followed by a G7 demonstration run in December 2015 at Parksons Graphics. The G7 Expert and Professional Certificate training took place in September 2016 in Mumbai. During the 4-day training of 25 color management and press technicians, 14 achieved G7 Professional ratings and 10 achieved certification as G7 Experts, including two from Parksons Graphics.
