Nukkad Printer, a Kolkata-based commercial printer, relies on a string of advanced machines and equipment in the company’s production facility for print quality, key among them are two Canon machines — imagePRESS V900 and imagePRESS V710, supplied and installed by Canon India.

Pawas Shah and Sanjay Joshi, co-founders and directors of Nukkad Printer, who have more than 35 years of experience in the industry, started the company in the year 2014. Over the past decade or so, Nukkad Printer has gained a reputation in the market for delivering quality graphic prints.

“We consider our overall achievements as an outcome of the high-end machines we run and the dedication of our team of 37 printing & production professionals,” Shah said, adding, “We have lines of highly advanced and efficient machines and equipment in our pre-press, press, and post-press divisions. Of them, in the press division, we rely on the two Canon digital production printing systems.”

Canon imagePRESS V710, now running productively in the production facility of Nukkad Printer, was installed in August 2019. Further, when the company was in dire need of an additional digital production printing system, the Canon imagePRESS V900 was the first choice and it was installed in July 2023. Shah says, “After the imagePRESS V900 was installed, we could improve speed, volume, and print quality to an all-new level.”

A powerful and versatile digital color production press, imagePRESS V900 operates at the speed of 90 A4 pages per minute to print on diverse media ranging from 52gsm up to 350gsm, which are thin, thick, plain, recycled, color, coated, embossed, bond, transparency, label, pre-punched, letterhead, index, transparent film, translucent film, envelope, synthetic, magnetic, and many more. It delivers stunning graphics in the resolution of 2400x2400dpi.

Working for big brands such as Subway, Polar, Swiggy, Exide, Godrej, JW Marriot, and others from different sectors, Nukkad Printer provides for end products, including books, tags, brochures, labels annual reports, coffee table books, catalogs, calendars, etc.

“We firmly believe in turning ideas with utter neatness into stunning graphic prints. In which, our dedicated team and an array of capable machines, including the imagePRESS V900 as the key for production printing, fully empower us to pull everything off to the utmost satisfaction of our valued clients,” Shah says.
