Bindwel is hosting an exclusive open house event from 25 to 30 November 2024 at its Bengaluru factory, inviting customers and industry professionals from across the globe. The event promises an immersive experience, blending live demonstrations, expert interactions, and insights into the latest advancements in bookbinding technology.
Spotlight on BW@2500 V24
One of the star attractions will be the BW@2500 V24, the newest version of Bindwel’s flagship medium-speed binder. Launched in April 2024, the BW@2500 V24 has already surpassed 60 installations worldwide. This machine offers innovative features designed to improve print quality while lowering costs, making it a favorite among print buyers. “The BW@2500 V24 has been a game-changer for our customers,” said Anil Kumar, national sales lead for Bindwel. “We’re excited to showcase its benefits in detail during the event.”
The SigLoch range for digital and the ‘Insta’ for short-run needs
The open house will also feature Bindwel’s SigLoch range of post-print kits, designed specifically for digital printing. And also micro, and short-run bookbinding solutions under the Insta series. Attendees will witness live demonstrations of new models, including gatherers and three-knife trimmers, and gain insights into their design and manufacturing processes.
Leadership presence
Adding to the event’s significance, Kai Buentemeyer, ex-CEO of Kolbus and a member of Bindwel’s board of directors, will be present. Sharing his thoughts, Buentemeyer remarked, “I am thrilled to return to India. I supported Bindwel at drupa 2024 and plan to join them again at PrintPack 2025. This open house is an excellent platform to review progress and engage with customers directly.”

As part of his visit, Buentemeyer will also participate in board discussions on Bindwel-Stelda’s Vision for the next three years. His presence underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and global collaboration.
A milestone event for Bindwel
Speaking to Indian Printer & Publisher, Sajith Pallippuram, managing director of Bindwel-Stelda, highlighted the event’s importance, “This open house will showcase our developments post-drupa 2024 and pre-PrintPack 2025. It gives us an opportunity to assess our chosen paths, particularly in digital post-press and short-run book production, by gathering valuable feedback from real-time users.”
Bindwel’s open house promises to be a landmark event for the bookbinding and post-press industry, offering attendees a chance to explore cutting-edge technology and engage with industry experts shaping the future.
