Based in the bustling business landscape of Goregaon in Mumbai, Mahavir Xerox recently commissioned a brand-new Epson M21000 monochrome multifunctional printer, enhancing its digital printing capabilities.
The Epson M21000 boasts a speed of up to 100 pages per minute and is powered by Epson PrecisionCore heat-free technology. The printer which accelerates job turnaround and excels in power consumption efficiency was supplied by Zest Digital Solutions, a distributor for Epson printers.
Bhavesh Ostwal, a key figure at Mahavir Xerox and Printers, expressed his satisfaction with the product, highlighting its pigment-based technology that ensures exceptional print quality and longevity. The versatility of the new press is evident as it caters to a spectrum of needs, from stickers to regular commercial black-and-white jobs.
“We are printing strikers and regular commercial black and white jobs on this new Epson M21000 press. We are happy with the product, especially the speed of the press of 100 pages per minute is very good and helps us with quick job turnaround. The other USP of this press is that it is pigment-based, which means that the print quality will be very good and long-lasting,” says Bhavesh Ostwal of Mahavir Xerox and Printers.
With multiple digital presses from leading brands such as Konica Minolta, Canon, and Epson, the print shop is a one-stop destination for a wide variety of customers. It has a fully loaded finishing section.
In the wide format segment, Mahavir Xerox and Printers leverages the Epson SureColor B6070, specializing in photo prints, CAD prints, canvas, satin prints, and more.
“We cater to a lot of photo print applications when it comes to wide format segment. CAD printing is another area we specialize in. In our overall business, wide format has about 15% share,” Ostwal says.
Thriving in 2023: retail success and soaring volumes
The year 2023 has proven to be a standout period for Mahavir Xerox and Printers. Ostwal attributes his success to a sharp increase in print volumes, particularly in the retail sector, which he describes as the “bread and butter.” The robust growth witnessed in 2023 indicates a thriving market and positions the company for even greater success in the coming year. Ostwal remains optimistic about the future, anticipating higher volumes in 2024.
“Retail customers are our bread and butter and the increase in print volumes has been robust, which means the market is doing very well. Given the trend, we expect the volumes to be even higher in 2024,” Ostwal says.
