Mahavir Offset Printers chooses Ricoh for short-run jobs

Raipur-based Mahavir Offset Printers, a well-known printer of Chhattisgarh, has upgraded its facility with a Ricoh Pro C7200. Specifically chosen for the short-run jobs, the new Ricoh digital color production press now running productively at Mahavir Offset Printers was supplied and installed by Monotech Systems.   

Established in the year 1986 by three brothers, the family-owned business is managed by a team of young and enthusiastic second generation which believes in meeting customers’ demands and satisfaction through their quality, materials, expertise, and price competitiveness.

The product portfolio consists of a diverse range or varieties of commercial printing and packaging items. Some of the key products in the range comprise business stationery, marketing collaterals, invitation cards, corporate documents, labels, etc. All the products are printed and produced at the company’s production facility equipped with advanced pre-press, press, and post-press machines. 

The pre-press section of Mahavir Offset Printers is equipped with a Kodak thermal CTP with ‘Kodak Squarespot’ technology to deliver accurate and stable imaging. The press section boasts a wide range of presses and machines, which includes three single color presses, Komori Lithrone S429, Komori Lithrone 526+ coater UV press, among others.    

The post-press section is equipped with an array of high-end finishing machines and equipment from reputed brands. Some of the key machines in the section include three Shoei folding machines, Heidelberg cylinder die-cutting machine, Welbound PUR glue binding machine and others.

The Ricoh Pro C7200 digital color production press with capacity to print up to 85 ppm on stocks up to 360 gsm in industry’s leading 2400×4800 dpi from Monotech Systems is one of the latest additions to the portfolio. 

As long as the installation of the new Ricoh Pro C7200 is concerned, this is the first ever digital color production press installed at Mahavir Offset Printers. This Ricoh Graphic Arts Edition 5-color digital production press with added features meet the need of the company’s short-run jobs. 

Mahavir Offset Printers has been constantly engaging in short-run jobs such as on-demand books, labels, etc., which they print now on the Ricoh Pro C7200.
