The photobook technology experts at Imaging Solutions (ISAG), will be unveiling the world’s first at photokina 2016 from 20 to 25 September in Cologne. Visitors will get to see the brand new fastBook Professional bookbinding system for LayFlat formats up to 18 x 18 inches at the Fujifilm stand in Hall 4.2 Stand C-019.
This book block production system manufactures high-quality photo books in impressive LayFlat binding. Due to a minimum of hot melt glue required, fastBook Professional is a cost-saving solution. No expensive adhesive foils are needed. As a 4-in-1-solution, fastBook Professional creases, folds, presses and glues single sheets and transforms them into perfect book blocks. By processing thin photo and digital printing paper, not only luxury LayFlat photo books in XXL format but also offset printed brochures and catalogs can be manufactured. For additional product quality, colored cardboards can be added between the single printed sheets.
The system is fitted with an adjustable fold pressing and performs a final pressing to shape the complete book block. This ensures photo book producers that they offer truly professional quality to their customers. The machine is built to work 24 hours while providing consistent quality. A long lifetime with very low maintenance are additional benefits of the fastBook system, which is 100% developed and produced in Switzerland.
