Messe Frankfurt India inaugurated it Media Expo Mumbai 2023 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai.

With a wider range of products, live product demonstrations, the inclusion of Screen Print – Industrial zone on the show floor, industrial print excellence awards, and panel discussions, Media Expo 2023, which began on 2 March in Mumbai, will serve as a complete package for indoor and outdoor advertising professionals.

Having established its name for the past 20 years for the latest in marketing, printing and signage solutions, Media Expo has become a platform for bridging the gap between innovation and application. The golden jubilee edition witnessed 32 new entrants into the world of indoor and outdoor advertising solutions. Visitors at the trade fair will have first-hand experience with over five new products and software launches by brands such as Canon, EFI VUTEk, SignAgent, CYGNUS, HP, etc.

This key business event was inaugurated by prominent names from the industry such as Rohit Yajnik, head – Non-Fare Revenue and Branding, Mumbai Metro One; medDevang Sheth, secretary, Screen Graphics Association of India; Junaid Shaikh, managing director, Roshan Space Brandcom; Raj Manek, managing director and Winston Pereira, general manager, Messe Frankfurt India Trade Fairs.

Addressing the gathering, Rohit Yajnik said, “There has been a huge amount of progress over the last few years in the printing & signage segments. Client interests and preferences are tilting towards eco-friendly products and materials that give a better feel to the brand.” He said consumers are largely aiming for materials that are economically feasible as well as sustainable to the environment

Raj Manek said that for the past 20 years, the exhibition has been providing an opportunity for people who are at the cutting edge of machinery to bring their imagination to reality. “It gives me great pleasure as we inaugurate the grand 50th edition. The show will for the first time see a new zone dedicated to industrial screen printing, Industrial Print Excellence Awards and two panel discussions with a workshop. The strategic decision of hosting the panel discussions alongside the show will give the exhibitors, business visitors, speakers and delegates a comprehensive platform to source new solutions and gain knowledge. The trade show attracts visitors from across the sector to be a part of numerous innovative machines which will be showcased by the exhibitors for demonstration.”

The opening day also witnessed a panel discussion on ‘Colour Management’, where insights on the need for color management in contemporary printing, the future of color management, as well as what brands, the end consumers are looking for in terms of color and print were discussed.

The B2B exhibition is backed by industry associations such as Delhi Printers Association (DPA), The Bombay Master Printer’s Association (BMPA), Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS), Offset Printer’s Association (OPA) and MSME Promotion Council. The Screen Print India – Industrial zone is supported by The European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) and the Screen-printing Graphics Association of India (SGAI).
