Canva and Fusion Signage integrated

Fusion Signage has announced an integration with Canva, making it easier than ever for businesses and organizations to create digital signage content and send it live to screens without the usual manual steps. The new integration connects one of the world’s most widely used design platforms with Fusion Signage’s digital signage software, giving users a faster and more seamless way to create, manage and publish visual content across single screens, multiple locations or entire screen networks. The integration is built around a simple idea: design in Canva, send to Fusion Signage, go live.

David Brummell, operations director at Fusion Signage partner and reseller Complete AV said, “I was surprised how simple and straightforward this integration makes it to create and publish content. Bringing the two platforms together is genius.”

Rebecca Filling, administration manager at Adventure Park Geelong and Fusion Signage user added, “What I love most is how easy this makes things for us. We used to design templates in Canva, download them and then have to recreate editable versions in Fusion Signage. Now our team can edit directly in Canva as it is incredibly easy to connect Canva to Fusion Signage. We are and will definitely be using this integration in our workflow moving forward.”

Fusion Signage is Australia’s friendliest digital signage software. Easy to use, powerful behind the scenes and backed by real Australian support it is currently running over 20,000 digital signage screens across Australia and New Zealand.

As Canva is now integrated with Fusion Signage, this enables users to move from content creation to digital deployment without the traditional export, download and re-upload process that often slows teams down and introduces unnecessary friction.

For organisations that need to update menus, promotions, announcements, internal communications or everyday on-screen messaging, that improvement is not just convenient, it has real operational value.

Canva has become a go-to design tool for many millions of users because it is quick, flexible and easy to use, even for people without formal design training. Marketing teams, retail staff, franchise groups, schools, hospitality venues and office teams all rely on Canva to create professional-looking content using ready-made templates or custom layouts. Users can easily drag and drop brand fonts, colours, graphics and logos into signage-optimised designs, making it possible to create polished visual communications in seconds rather than hours.

Until now, many Fusion Signage users who already designed content in Canva still had to follow a specified and somewhat longer workflow. They would create in Canva, download the finished file, then manually upload it into Fusion Signage before scheduling and deploying it.

Fusion Signage considered how they could streamline and make this more efficient and responded with an integration designed to remove any extra effort. The result is a smoother, more efficient process that fits naturally into the way businesses already work.

Connecting Canva to Fusion Signage takes just two steps. Users log into Fusion Signage, go to the Manage section and click Add, then Canva. That takes them to their Canva account. Once their design is ready, they simply click Return to Fusion Signage, where the Canva asset appears like any other media item. From there, it can be added to playlists, updated at any time, scheduled like any other piece of content and deployed to one screen, one location or thousands of screens across a network.

What makes the integration so valuable is not simply that Canva and Fusion Signage work so well together, but that the connection solves several practical problems at once. It removes the need to download files from Canva, eliminates the need to manually upload content into Fusion Signage, reduces version control issues, avoids duplicate content libraries across multiple platforms and removes the need for additional design training.

Instead, content can be created by the people who know the brand best, using a platform they already understand, and then published directly through Fusion Signage with minimal effort and fewer opportunities for mistakes.

That creates measurable value for end users across almost every industry where digital signage matters. In retail, it means promotions can be rolled out faster across dozens or hundreds of locations while maintaining brand consistency. In hospitality, menus, specials and venue announcements can be updated more quickly and with less administrative effort.

In education, staff can create fresh, engaging communications using a tool that many already know, while Canva for Education makes the platform especially attractive to schools, teachers and students.

In corporate settings, internal communications teams can keep workplace screens relevant and polished without relying on external designers or complex workflows.

The integration also reflects a broader shift in how organisations approach digital signage.

Content creation and content distribution are often treated as separate tasks, handled by different systems and slowed down by repeated manual intervention. By allowing Canva designs to move directly into digital signage workflows, Fusion Signage brings those two functions together into a single, connected process. That means less friction, more creation and better screens.

From a technical standpoint, the integration has been designed to feel seamless from start to finish.

Fusion Signage MD James Ingram explained, “That strength is underpinned by our highly capable development team, who have built the experience to be intuitive, efficient and reliable. From the user’s perspective, however, the key point is much simpler: the integration works the way businesses expect it to work. It fits naturally into existing content habits rather than forcing users to change them.”

For customers and end users, the real and tangible value lies in the time saved, the reduction in manual processes, the improved consistency across locations and the significantly better experience for the people responsible for keeping screens fresh and relevant. Even removing a few minutes from every update can quickly add up for teams managing large screen networks, multiple campaigns or frequent content changes.

With Canva now integrated into Fusion Signage, users can start taking advantage of the new workflow immediately from within their Fusion Signage account. For existing Canva users, the integration removes a long-standing pain point. For those not yet using Canva, it opens the door to an easy, low-barrier design platform that allows virtually anyone to create attractive screen content without needing a design degree or a trained design eye.

James Ingram concluded, “The result is a faster, simpler and more efficient digital signage workflow that helps organisations create better content and get it onto screens with less effort. In a category where speed, relevance and visual impact matter, the Canva and Fusion Signage integration gives users a practical new advantage that adds real and tangible value to their business.”
