Installed in March this year, a brand-new Canon imagePRESS V800 digital color production press at Hello Graphics in Madurai has changed the print shop’s digital production game. Serving a vast customer base comprising individuals and professionals from diverse businesses, as well as walk-in customers from different walks of life, Hello Graphics delivers high-quality graphic prints and an array of premium finished products.

The print shop is now fully geared up to fulfill its customers’ demands for the best-quality prints and finished products with the iPR V800—a capable digital color production press from Canon India.

Around 15 years ago, Hello Graphics was founded by TC Sathiya Narayanan, who is now joined in the business by his father, TV Chandrasekaran, and his brother, TC Lakshmi Narayanan.

“We are just a small team. However, we somehow manage almost everything related to printing to meet our customers’ demands and desires. The graphic prints and finished products we currently cater to include everything, from small business cards to large signage posters. Though we now manage high-quality digital production printing in-house with the recent installation of the iPR V800, we still outsource digital large-format printing for signage applications,” said TC Sathiya Narayanan.

TC Sathiya Narayanan adds, “The new iPR V800 in our facility is an ideal machine for us. It meets all our current requirements. Its advanced features and capabilities are far superior to any other machines in its class currently available in the market. The printing speed, quality output, and media versatility of the iPR V800 finally enable us to deliver exactly what our customers want in terms of textures, colours, and innovations. It has only been a few months since we started running this new Canon digital press in our facility; however, its outstanding output and productivity really impress our customers.”

Despite its small footprint, the iPR V800 is capable of handling oversized graphic prints. It is a suitable choice for print shops like Hello Graphics, whose activities involve producing a wide variety of quality graphic prints and finished products for a vast customer base. Operating at a speed of 80 A4-size pages per minute (ppm), the iPR V800 is compatible with a variety of lightweight and heavyweight media ranging from 52gsm up to 350gsm, producing high-quality graphic prints at an industry-leading resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi.

“Another added advantage of the iPR V800 is its capability to print on unconventional media like covers, envelopes, synthetics, coated papers, textured papers, long sheets of 1300mm, and many others,” says TC Sathiya Narayanan, adding that such versatility has empowered them to experiment with improved print quality and innovation. Hello Graphics produces a vast range of end products, including cards of all kinds, vouchers, stickers, labels, letterheads, bill books, posters, LED signs, etc.

TC Sathiya Narayanan states that they are very happy to partner with Canon India for the advanced iPR V800 digital colour production press, as well as for its consistently available and amiable after-sales service support. “This iPR V800 in our facility is the first machine from Canon India. We now feel that more such versatile and capable digital production machines will be needed in the future to further boost our overall print production and innovation to another level,” he concludes.
