Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers utilized Pamex 2026 to present a range of inspection, coating and finishing technologies aimed at the packaging and commercial printing industries.

A senior company official said their main highlight was the Autoprint Checkmate 65, a carton inspection system designed to ensure consistent quality in mono-cartons used by industries such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, cosmetics, textiles and automotive.

The machine is designed to address a growing challenge faced by large packaging converters: maintaining uniform print quality and artwork accuracy throughout high-volume production. In sectors such as pharmaceuticals, strict regulatory requirements make quality inspection particularly critical, as packaging must comply with stringent standards to avoid duplication, misprints or inconsistencies.

The Checkmate 65 operates at up to 650 meters per minute and can inspect cartons up to 65 centimeters wide. The machine uses specialized software to compare printed cartons against a pre-loaded “master carton”, allowing the system to detect deviations in printing, embossing, braille, foil stamping, coatings and other value-added effects commonly used in folding carton packaging. Any variation from the defined parameters is automatically identified and rejected, ensuring consistent output from the first carton to the last.

Alongside the inspection system, Autoprint showcased the Fine Coat 105 drip-off coating machine, designed for multiple coating applications. The machine supports matte or gloss finishes, water-based coatings, spot coating, strippable blanket coating and blister coating within a single system.

The Fine Coat 105 features a two-tower configuration with an intermediate UV curing system. The first tower can apply matte coatings, while the second unit incorporates a three-roller coating system with a ceramic anilox roller. The machine can achieve different coating thickness levels depending on the anilox configuration and includes both infrared and UV drying systems, allowing operators to switch between UV and water-based coating processes.

The coating system can handle sheet sizes up to 750 mm by 1050 mm (29.5 x 41 inches) and substrates ranging from 130 gsm to 600 gsm, including greyback, whiteback, ivory, and specialty carton boards.

The company also introduced an automatic die-punching machine with a vertical hot foil system, launched at the exhibition. Designed for packaging converters, the machine handles sheet sizes up to 24 x 35 inches and supports automated die-cutting and foil stamping operations.

Another machine on display was Autoprint’s row stripping (blanking) system, which automates the stripping process following die-cutting in carton production lines.

In addition to conventional packaging equipment, Autoprint displayed several digital finishing solutions designed for users of digital presses. The portfolio includes digital die-cutting systems, automatic cutting and lamination machines, and a large-format flatbed die-cutting system capable of processing substrates such as corrugated board, cardboard and synthetic boards.

The company presented a variable data printing system capable of printing serial numbers, mailing addresses, QR codes and barcodes, supporting applications that require track-and-trace or personalized printing.

According to the company, the technologies reflect growing demand among converters for integrated solutions that allow printing and finishing operations to be completed under one roof while maintaining high-quality standards for packaging production.
