Karnal-based AVG Print & Pack, a commercial printer and packaging supplier, has been growing since installing a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080. The printer provides end-to-end solutions for printing and packaging, including books, magazines, labels, monocartons, and customized printed materials for a wide range of industries.

The company began production with a single-color offset machine from Prakash Offset and, over time, diversified into screen printing and packaging. It installed the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 in July 2023, marking its entry into digital printing, which helped strengthen its short-run production capacity and expand its service portfolio.

AVG’s production facility houses a comprehensive range of offset and digital printing equipment supported by an advanced prepress and finishing setup. “Along with digital, our setup includes offset machines such as a Heidelberg 102 ZP, Adast Polly 566, a Koenig & Bauer Performa 74, a Heidelberg 2-color SMZ, and a Planeta Super Variant 102, along with precision finishing and cutting equipment. This combination allows us to meet both commercial printing and packaging needs seamlessly,” says proprietor Vishal Bhutani.

The printer installed the AccurioPress C4080 to bring digital printing in-house, in order to manage short-run jobs more efficiently. Earlier, such orders were outsourced, leading to delays and inconsistent output. “Since installing the AccurioPress C4080, we have achieved faster turnaround times, improved color consistency, and enhanced overall operational efficiency. The machine’s print quality closely matches offset standards, which has helped us deliver greater value and reliability to our clients.”

Speaking on plans, he said they are continuously exploring new growth and expansion opportunities. “The investment in the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 is part of our broader vision to integrate advanced digital technologies into our operations. Moving forward, we plan to expand our presence in value-added packaging and explore new applications in short-run and specialty printing to stay ahead of evolving customer needs.”

With a skilled workforce of over 70 and a balanced mix of offset and digital machinery, the Karnal facility is equipped to manage both high-volume packaging orders and customized short-run print jobs efficiently. The inclusion of the AccurioPress C4080 has brought greater flexibility to its production line, enabling it to maintain high-quality output while meeting diverse customer requirements within tight deadlines.

Bhutani said partnering with Konica Minolta has significantly enhanced its digital journey. “The press has empowered us to deliver faster, more consistent, and high-quality results. The training and support provided by the Konica Minolta team have helped us continue to innovate and scale our capabilities in the printing and packaging industry.”
