Aakruti Cards & Envelopes at Vashi in Navi Mumbai is a print shop offering premium cards and decorative envelopes. Run by proprietor Savji Chheda, all products are produced in-house at a setup fully equipped with a line of advanced digital production presses, which has recently been expanded with a Canon imagePRESS V1000 digital color production press.

Nishit A Nishar, general manager, Aakruti Cards & Envelopes, says, “For years, we have been using digital production presses of other brands. This new iPR V1000 from Canon India is pushing our productivity to another level by improvement in print quality, graphic texture, and vividness in colors.” He said they chose the new press for its advanced features and capabilities.

The iPR V1000 is a versatile multicolor printing press capable of running at 100ppm (pages per minute), compatible on different media sizes, types, and weights. It prints on varied stocks starting from thin material of 52 gsm up to 400 gsm thick. According to Nishar, such media flexibility of the Canon digital press enables them to produce newer range of applications innovatively in higher print quality.

Built on a reliable technology platform, harnessing innovation and automation at every level, iPR V1000 at Aakruti Cards & Envelopes is the key to digitally printing a varied range of finished products such as cards, envelopes, booklets, posters, and many others, using a broadest line of stocks comprising special synthetic and textured media. “The graphic prints we currently print on this new Canon press are turned out in 2400 x 2400 dpi,” Nishar says.

“Capable of printing and producing exquisite graphic prints in vivid colours and superb texture, this new iPR V1000 is polishing our cards and envelopes like never before. We are quite satisfied with the print outputs from this Canon press, which meet our customer demands.”

Nishar says the new iPR V1000 has escalated quality, innovation, and texture in graphic print outputs. He emphasises, “We are happy to be partnering with the team Canon India.”
