Monotech Systems, a printing technology solutions provider, unveiled its advanced Neon printing technologies at Media Expo Delhi, held from 3-5 October. The new machine features pink and green fluorescent UV inks for both outdoor and indoor advertising.
Other attractions from the company included wide-format printers, flatbed printers, hybrid printers that combine flatbed and roll-to-roll technologies, a 10-feet eco-solvent printer for outdoor signage, alongside Canon and Ricoh printers.
In an interaction with Indian Printer & Publisher, Manoj Kumar Garg, vice president-WFG, Monotech Systems said the footfall at this year’s exhibition was notably better than the previous edition, leading to meaningful interactions with a broad range of customers. The company’s primary focus was on UV printing this year, describing it as the most versatile and promising technology in the segment.
On market demand, Garg said that UV-based technologies are garnering better demand, driven by sustainability. “UV-cured inks allow you to print on virtually any surface, rigid or flexible, making it ideal for a wider range of applications,” Garg said.
“We showcased both hybrid and dedicated solutions for roll-to-roll and flatbed printing. Print durability, substrate versatility, and the possibility of multiple applications are also factors fueling its adoption.”
Garg explained that the outdoor signage industry is witnessing significant technological adoption in tier 2 and 3 cities, while the metro cities are noticing a growing market with interior decor and advertising.
