Konica Minolta has installed three AccurioPress C14000 sheet-fed digital color presses in India — at Friends Digital in Delhi, HS Laxmi in Kolkata and JB Khanna in Chennai.

According to Ashok Sethi, chief sales officer, Konica Minolta India, “We are seeing amazing results with customers who have chosen to move up to the C14000 to help achieve speed, accuracy, and versatility in their businesses. This is more than a simple upgrade and a better press; it is truly the enabler of advancement for any print business focused on achieving greater success.”

The AccurioPress C14000 is the company’s fastest sheet-fed digital color press, designed to meet the high-speed, high-volume demands of commercial printers and in-plant operations. It delivers image quality at 3600 x 2400 dpi and handles media weights from 52 to 450 gsm, including long sheets up to 1300 mm.

Equipped with IQ-501 for real-time color and registration accuracy, it offers enhanced automation, media flexibility, and reduced manual intervention. The C14000 supports a diverse range of applications, including brochures, book covers, direct mail, and packaging dummies, and offers options for advanced finishing. It enables print providers to scale operations efficiently while maintaining consistency and reliability.

At Friends Digital, innovation and quality have always been at the forefront of its services. With the installation of the new Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14000, it has witnessed a significant leap in production capabilities — a milestone for its clients and partners.

Its relationship with Konica Minolta spans over a decade. Nitin Gupta, partner at Friends said, “The AccurioPress C14000 is a true reflection of Konica Minolta’s cutting-edge technology, combining speed, precision, and durability to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

“Its production speed has dramatically increased our overall output capacity. Projects that once required extended schedules can now be completed with exceptional efficiency, giving us a competitive edge in today’s fast-paced market.”

With the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14000 in its production unit, Friends Digital is now positioned to handle high-volume print demands effortlessly, while maintaining the finesse its clients expect. “This upgrade is not just an investment in technology but a testament to our commitment to delivering world-class printing solutions,” he adds.

Since installing the AccurioPress C14000, its operations have become noticeably more efficient and seamless. The machine’s intelligent automation and inline quality control have reduced manual interventions and errors, enabling us to deliver consistent, high-quality output.

“We are now able to meet tighter deadlines, offer more customization, and take on larger, more diverse printing jobs. Ultimately, it has strengthened our ability to meet and exceed client expectations with greater speed and precision,” Maiti said.

JB Khanna, Chennai

Rajesh Khanna, partner at JB Khanna, said the decision to install the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14000 was primarily driven by a combination of his long-standing relationship with the company, as he has been a loyal customer for the past eight years, and his previous experience with the KM1e (AccurioJet KM1e) model and C6100 (AccurioPress C6100).

He says the new press represents a significant upgrade from the older C6100 model, offering enhanced features that align with my business needs. One of the key motivations for this transition is the high-speed printing capability of the C14000, which allows for increased productivity and efficiency in print operations. This machine utilizes advanced technology to ensure that every print job meets the highest standards, providing vibrant colors and sharp details that are essential for professional-grade outputs.

Khanna says, “The C14000 excels in banner printing, offering greater ease and flexibility in producing larger formats. This feature is crucial for expanding our service offerings and meeting diverse customer demands, particularly for promotional materials and signage.”

In a nutshell, the installation of the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14000 is motivated by the need for a modern, high-performance printing solution that enhances productivity, quality, and versatility in our print services. Investing in this cutting-edge technology is expected to yield significant benefits for business operations and customer satisfaction.
