Founded by Devendra Singh Khokhar, Sonipat‘s Devendra Photostat & Lamination was a reprographic shop when it started its operation in 1996. Over the last three decades, the print shop has upgraded its production setup with constant installations of high-end presses & post-press machines of different technologies and configurations, the latest among them being a PixelGlow Lumina, a digital UV print enhancement printer from Monotech Systems.

PixelGlow Lumina is indigenously manufactured by Monotech Systems. “Installed in February this year, this compact and highly advanced digital spot UV system has changed the way we add spot UV effects and textured finishes to graphic prints,” says Rithik Khokhar, director of Devendra Photostat & Lamination.

From 2011, the establishment made constant investments in high-end production presses and finishing equipment. Key presses and machines in the company’s current production setup are from Komori, Heidelberg, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, among others, across the offset and digital portfolios. “In addition to offset and commercial, we engage in digital large-format printing for which a Pixeljet solvent system, yet another ‘Made in India’ machine from Monotech Systems, plays the key role,” Khokhar says.

“Our partnership with Monotech dates to more than a decade. It started when we first purchased a Konica Minolta digital press, followed by a Dumor print finishing machine, a Ricoh Pro C7200X digital color production press, and now the PixelGlow Lumina, UV print enhancement printer,” Khokhar said.

With a complete range of presses & post-press machines, Devendra Photostat & Laminations offers widest range of end-products and applications encompassing catalogues, booklets, leaflets, flyers, brochures, pamphlets, calendars, mailers, business cards, labels, packaging boxes, outdoor billboards, wall-posters, etc.

According to Khokhar, the printer is into specialty and security printing of certificates and mark-sheets for schools, colleges and universities, produced colorfully beyond the CMYK gamut. Maa Shakambhari University (Saharanpur), Arunachal University of Studies (Namsai), and Sabarmati University (Ahmedabad), among many others, are some of its longstanding clients.

With a team of 60 skilled graphic designing and printing professionals, Devendra Photostat & Lamination meets the needs of every bit of demands from diverse clients from different sectors, businesses, and walks of life.

Transforming most ordinary prints into exceptional pieces, PixelGlow Lumina can operate at a speed of 60 sheets per hour, handling paper sizes up to 14”x20”, to embellish graphics in resolution of 600x600dpi. “We are grateful to Monotech for this embellishment marvel and their dedicated post-sales support. We look forward to strengthening our partnership further, with more machines,” says Khokhar.
