Under the theme of ‘Connected Automation,’ Komori India highlighted the company’s latest offerings at Bharat Print Expo 2025, including the Lithrone 40 Advance EX edition, the Lithrone G37, and the Lithrone G37P Advance.

According to Jitender Rohilla, general manager of sales at Komori India, the exhibition was a platform for Komori to reinforce its growing footprint in both the commercial and packaging printing segments across southern India.

According to Rohilla, the company’s stand received a footfall of around 100 customers. “These were from the commercial and packaging domains. We got fresh inquiries from serious trade visitors from Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka, which we hope to convert into business.”

Speaking about present market trends, Rohilla noted higher demand for Komori’s packaging presses in southern India. “A number of our packaging machines are already up and running. Some are being installed, and more orders have been placed for highly configured packaging presses that will be deployed soon,” he added.

Chakrapani Vemula, regional sales manager, South India, Komori, corroborated the rise in demand for Komori’s packaging solutions. “In the past four to five years, we observed a substantial increase in the sales of our packaging machines. In the past year alone, we recorded a 50% growth in this segment,” he said.

In the commercial printing segment, Komori India maintains a commanding presence. “We currently hold around 80% of the market share in commercial printing,” Rohilla claimed. “Cities such as Bengaluru, as well as other parts of southern India, have seen several Komori installations. With positive market sentiments, the commercial printing sector is booming for us.”

This viewpoint was reinforced by Prathap Kumar S, assistant sales manager at Komori India, who said Komori’s commercial machine sales were steadily increasing.

Prathap Kumar said in response to the growing demand, they are expanding the team by hiring additional service engineers. “This ensures we maintain high service standards and quick response times,” he said.

“Being the first edition, Bharat Print Expo 2025 has turned out to be a well-organized and attended exhibition. It’s an overall good show and we look forward to taking part in more such prolific exhibitions,” Rohilla said.

The organizers did a good job in terms of promotional activities such as road shows, which resulted in a good footfall, he said.
