Delhi-based Asha Digital Arts, a provider of commercial, digital large-format, and graphic arts printing solutions, has upgraded its fleet of machines with a new Ricoh Pro C7500 digital color production press from Monotech Systems.
Asha Digital Arts has been in business for more than 25 years. “Over the years, we have been working for customers of all profiles, backgrounds, and from different walks of life,” says Anirudh Kumar Raut, proprietor. “To meet the increasing demands for higher quality prints, larger volumes, and innovative graphics, we keep investing in the latest machines and equipment.”
In addition to the newly installed Ricoh Pro C7500, Asha Digital Arts is equipped with a portfolio of machines of different models, configurations, and technological platforms. Some of them are Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C6100, AccurioPress 6120 (for monochrome prints), ColorJet’s IRISJET Pro eco-solvent printer, a Roland VersaCAMM VS-640i print & cut system and others, including an array of post-press equipment.
On choosing the new Ricoh Pro C7500, Raut emphasizes that this new digital color production press is ideally an efficient machine for the production of crisp and standout print outputs. “Apart from its capability to deliver high-quality graphics in flawless operation, this all-new Ricoh machine in our facility is highly flexible in media handling as well. After all, this is the most cost-effective machine we have ever owned,” he adds.
Raut continues, “In addition to all else, the Ricoh Pro C7500 is a robust and productive digital press. Since its recent installation, we have been printing around 190,000 sheets every month.” Perfectly engineered to print at an upgradable speed of 95 ppm, this Ricoh digital production press boasts a maximum input capacity of 16,200 sheets when configured with optional paper input trays and it provides to graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi.
As the media flexibility of Ricoh Pro C7500 is commendable, it prints on varied thin and thick media ranging from 40 gsm up to 470 gsm. Another added feature of the press is the EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers to optimize print efficiency and quality.
In the servers, the Intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production of personalized end-products with the press’ variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.
Equally active on eCommerce platforms, Asha Digital Arts satisfactorily serves its customers from diverse sectors with end-products such as brochures, pamphlets, fliers, cards, labels, stickers, large-format signage graphics, and more.
“To satisfy our customers, maintain quality, and volume, we further look forward to investing in more new machines, perhaps a Ricoh Pro C9500, from Monotech Systems,” says Raut.
Asha Digital Arts’ investment in the Ricoh Pro C7500 really reflects how digital presses are reshaping the print landscape in India. It would be interesting to see how this move influences their service mix across segments like packaging and large-format print.
