The theme “Be Unstoppable” set the tone for Print Summit 2025, held on 16 January at Tata Theatre, NCPA, where Tushar Bhotica, president of the Bombay Master Printers’ Association (BMPA), delivered the keynote during the event’s inauguration.

In his opening address, Bhotica emphasized the pressing need for resilience, self-reflection, and environmentally conscious practices to succeed in the ever-evolving printing and packaging sectors.

Bhotica described the Summit’s theme as more than a motto, presenting it as a guiding principle for the industry. Drawing on Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s enduring lines, popularized by Amitabh Bachchan in Agneepath, he encouraged delegates to embrace unwavering perseverance and embody the spirit of unyielding determination.

Bhotica stressed the importance of strategic pauses in achieving excellence, likening them to an archer preparing for a powerful shot. He argued that such moments of reflection and recalibration are essential for sustainable growth.

Highlighting the value of ethical and eco-conscious decision-making, he said progress devoid of integrity or concern for environmental well-being loses its significance. He urged the audience to consider the broader impact of their actions on communities, ecosystems, and future generations.

Linking the Summit’s timing to Uttarayana and Makar Sankranti, Bhotica drew parallels between these seasonal markers of renewal and the industry’s need for innovation. Solar energy, he noted, serves as a compelling metaphor for sustainable progress, urging industry stakeholders to adopt clean energy solutions to ensure a brighter, enduring future.

As he concluded, Bhotica challenged attendees to integrate resilience, innovation, and sustainability into their professional journeys.
