For more than 30 years, Nagpur-based Saifi Screens has been in commercial offset printing. The company is, however, now active in digital printing as well. What currently drives the company’s digital printing is a brand new Ricoh Pro C7500 5-color station digital production press supplied and installed by Monotech Systems.

“It has been just a few months since we installed the new Ricoh Pro C7500. But this digital color production press is significantly flourishing our digital printing capacity by opening up new possibilities for catering quality and flawless graphic prints. After exploring various options available in the market, we found the Ricoh Pro C7500 to be cost-effective yet advanced and high performance digital production press,” says Aziz Saifi, proprietor of Saifi Screens.

Ricoh Pro C7500’s fully packed advanced features, combined with its additional 5th Color Station, deliver everything out of the box without compromising on quality and versatility. The additional station contains seven toners outpouring Gold, Silver, White, Clear, Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, and Invisible Red, for adding extra effects and textures to graphics. “We are now using white and other inks for making graphics innovatively stand out among the ordinaries,” says Aziz.

In the business of Saifi Screens, Aziz’s son Moiz Saifi is looking after the company’s digital printing division. The company’s production facility is equipped with complete lines of pre-press, press, and post-press machines and equipment, which include an Amsky CtP machine, two Komori Lithrone presses, five Vulcan finishing systems, a cold laminator, and others. In addition, Saifi Screens is central India’s authorized dealer of Toyo Ink.

“Following the installation of the Ricoh Pro C7500, our digital printing activities blossom, opening up all manner of applications to fulfil our customers to their fullest satisfaction,” says Aziz, adding, “Our digitally printed products consist of brochures, fliers, catalogues, cards, etc.” The Ricoh Pro C7500 is designed to print graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi on a broad range of lightweight as well as heavyweight media ranging from 40gsm up to 470 gsm at the speed of 85 ppm.

At the core of the Ricoh Pro C7500 is EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers which are crucial for optimizing efficiency and quality in today’s print operations. Its intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production of personalized products with the variable data printing (VDP) capabilities of the Ricoh digital press in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.

“Since the day we installed the Ricoh Pro C7500 in our digital printing division, our opportunities for growth on the digital front continue with plenty of scopes being opened up,” says Aziz, adding that they are thankful to Monotech Systems for the machine and unconditional after-sales support, and the current exertion of the 20-member team of Saifi Screens is to exploit the full capacities of the digital color production press as the New Year 2025 unfolds.
