Mumbai-based Just Print, a long-standing patron of Canon which has a string of Canon production presses of different configurations and capacities, has installed a new Canon imagePRESS V1000 at the company’s Andheri (E) production facility.
“With the installation of the new Canon imagePRESS V1000, we now have five Canon presses running in our facility,” says Shantilal Nisar, proprietor of Just Print. He adds, “We keep replacing older Canon models with the latest and upgraded ones. We have marked Mumbai’s many firsts when we installed Canon presses in our facility.”
The five Canon presses now running in Just Print’s production facility are a Canon imagePRESS V1000, which arrived a couple months back; an imagePRESS C9010VP color digital press, the first installation in Mumbai or western India in 2022; an imagePROGRAF TM-5350, an iPF8410 imagePROGRAF, two plotters for posters & large-format graphics; and an imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 8705 for monochrome prints.
“Just recently when we realized that our existing presses simply couldn’t keep up with the required volume of production, we decided to bring home a brand new Canon imagePRESS V1000 color production press and it won over us as its unique features met most of our requirements,” says Shantilal.
Capable of operating at a speed of 100 A4ppm, the Canon imagePRESS V1000 is compatible with varied lightweight and heavyweight media ranging from 52gsm to 400gsm, delivering graphics in 2400x2400dpi resolution. Shantilal says, “This new Canon press, which provides speed, accuracy, and range of functions, can easily thrive production capacity of 10,000 impressions per day.”
Backed by a team of 16 well-experienced printing professionals, Shantilal was recently joined by his son Vijay Nisar. The company offers all sorts of commercial prints, applications, and end-products such as cards, stickers, boxes, brochures, catalogs, labels, posters, promotional signage graphics, etc. In addition to high-end digital printing presses, the company has a post-press unit equipped with a string of Vulcan laser cutting, half-cutting, corner-cutting, centre-pinning, and creasing machines as well as laminators.
