The Indian Express relaunched its film magazine, SCREEN, in a digital avatar. A known name in film journalism since 1951, SCREEN was reintroduced at an event in Mumbai. SCREEN is returning to The Indian Express fold after 11 years.

With the launch, Indian Express’ entertainment section, which attracts between 20 million and 45 million unique users a month, will now be rebranded as SCREEN.

The magazine was reintroduced with actor Shraddha Kapoor on its cover. The actor also headlined the event and was joined by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and actor Vijay Varma. The Indian Express Group owned the magazine till 2015, when Star India acquired it. It ceased publication for a few years.

Anant Goenka, executive director of The Indian Express Group, announced the relaunch in a recent LinkedIn post.
