Seamlessly switching between creativity and productivity, Kolkata-based Attainable Media & Communications has set a paradigm shift in business with the purchase of a brand new Ricoh Pro C7500 supplied & installed by Monotech Systems.

“Following the installation of Ricoh Pro C7500, we perceive a new dynamic in our overall printing & production activities,” says Srimant Kumar Pani, proprietor of Attainable Media & Communications. He says the new digital color production press has advanced features and capacities which help them scale up volume of works around new graphic print innovations.

“What we ideally perceive as added advantages of this new Ricoh Pro C7500 include its media handling capacity, high-speed print production, and sizeable gamut of additional colors poured out from the 5th Color Station. Such capacities and proficiency of the press are what we were looking for to address new volume of works and fresh print innovations. It’s by far the most flexible and productive machine we have ever worked with,” he says.

According to Pani, the new Ricoh Pro C7500 has enabled them to handle much thicker media up to 470 gsm. He emphasizes, “With such capability, we can fulfil the utmost demand of some of our clients who come down to us for fancy and special cards produced using varieties of thick media. In this way, we have tapped some new business opportunities using the new Ricoh Pro C7500.”

Its client list is a mix of jobbers and corporates. “Jobbers who come to us for special products such as fancy cards are now impressive and excited about the effects we effectively add on prints using extra colors from the 5th Color Station of Ricoh Pro C7500,” Pani says. The color station is designed to add seven additional special colors—Gold, Silver, White, Clear, Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, and Invisible Red on graphics printed in usual CMYK gamut.

Pani says speed is yet another advancement of the Ricoh Pro C7500. “Though we have been using digital production presses of other brands, when it comes to high-speed print production, this new Ricoh press from Monotech Systems boosts our capacity of 40 jobs to the level of 400 jobs,” he adds. Ricoh Pro C7500 runs at 85 ppm, which can be upgraded to 95 ppm, to deliver print quality in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi on media of 40 gsm to 470 gsm.

Since its inception in the year 2012, Attainable Media & Communications has been associated with Monotech Systems whose  support helps them grow over the years. Pani says their partnership with the supplier of Ricoh Pro C7500 is dated to the time when they first purchased a Konica Minolta press from them and it goes on.

The Ricoh Pro C7500 digital production presses feature EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers, designed to enhance performance and profitability for both color and black-and-white outputs. The intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production with exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows. Operators enjoy streamlined setups, advanced imaging capabilities, and strong color management that ensure consistent and accurate results. With variable data printing (VDP) capabilities, businesses can produce personalized materials that effectively engage customers. In summary, Fiery Digital Print Servers are crucial for optimizing efficiency and quality in today’s print operations.
