At Print Expo 2024 Chennai, Technova Imaging Systems, a leading player in printing and packaging solutions, showcased solutions for a diverse range of sectors, including commercial and newspaper printing, publishing, packaging, signage, photo, textile, engineering, and medical imaging.
Puranjit Sarangi, senior general manager at Technova, said the company doesn’t supply just machines and components but entire ecosystems. The machines at the company stand comprised multiple segments for printing and packaging requirements. “We are not equipment manufacturers. We choose an application, and whatever a company requires for that application, we procure it for them. The customer does not get a single device but a comprehensive ecosystem to run the business with the concept of print-to-product.
The company showcased its core offset technology at the show held from 22 to 24 August. Technova is a manufacturer of plates and chemicals, so those were also displayed, along with equipment from its partner OEMs. The digital segment, for which the company has partnered with Konica Minolta, showcased digitally printed samples, which highlighted printing customizations such as foiling, embellishments, and spot UV.
“TechNova has introduced several breakthrough technologies and innovative products that have transformed various print processes and created new markets,” Sarangi says. “With our wide distribution and logistics network in India, our products and services are used by every printer in the country. In addition to a leadership position in India, we market our products to over 60 countries through our international offices and distribution network.”
Sustainable solutions are at Technova’s core. It says it is committed to helping the printing industry adopt eco-friendly solutions, reduce carbon footprint, eliminate waste, and facilitate sustainable growth. “To help achieve this, we at TechNova have embarked on a ‘Go Green’ mission to promote green awareness. We hope to develop, manufacture, and supply eco-friendly products that have the least environmental impact,” he concludes.
