To enhance its print capability, Jaipur-based commercial printer JMD Purple Strokes installed a brand new Ricoh Pro C7200x 11 color digital production press supplied by Monotech Systems.
With a team of around 15 experienced staff, JMD Purple Strokes, since its establishment in 1998, has been designing and printing labels, stickers, brochures, catalogues, book jackets, coffee table books, annual reports, calendars, direct mailers, etc.
On choosing the Ricoh Pro C7200x, Kapil Arora, proprietor of JMD Purple Strokes, says, “We somehow managed our digital printing using a refurbished press earlier but it hampered quality and consistency in color and texture. We extensively searched for an ideal machine for our requirement and the Ricoh Pro C7200x at Monotech Systems caught our attention with its robustness and advanced features. The installation took place in January this year.”

With the addition of the fifth color station, stimulating white, clear, invisible red, gold, silver, neon pink, and neon yellow toner color capacity into a new standard, the Ricoh Pro C7200x proves is capable of running faster while delivering quality graphic prints for diverse applications. Arora says it empowers them to fully meet their customers’ needs, whether in print quality or enhancement.

Supporting varied textures of media, which include a range of unconventional metallic, magnetic, dark, adhesive, synthetics, etc., Ricoh Pro C7200x delivers prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800dpi. So flexibly, it takes up a range of lightweight and heavyweight media up to 360gsm to produce finest details in graphics at the maximum printing speed of 85ppm (pages per minute).
