At Pamex 2024 in Mumbai, Arrow Digital, a known name in digital printing and cutting, had live demonstrations of its EFI 16h Pro, Arrowjet Aqua 330R hybrid pro, and Arrow EZcut 330R machines.

Although most visitors were interested in the live demonstration of the EFI 16h Pro, the 13” blade finisher, ArrowEZcut 330R, also grabbed a few eyeballs. The blade finisher has a maximum die-cutting speed of 6m/min and a slitting speed of 100m/min.

Prakash Chopra, senior VP of sales, at Arrow Digital, said, “With our technologies and solutions we address the evolving needs of the packaging and signage industry.”

With CMYK plus two white channels and a print resolution of up to 1200 dpi, the EFI Pro 16h boasts a print speed of up to 976 ft2 per hour. Chopra said, “It ensures efficiency in a high-volume environment.”

The high-speed digital inkjet printer for labels and flexible packaging, the Arrowjet Aqua 330R, is an all-in-one priming and varnish printer. With Memjet’s DuraFlex technology, it prints high-resolution labels, flexible packaging, and more at speeds up to 150 feet per minute with water-based pigment inks and the added benefits of inline lamination and NIR drying.

Aligning with sustainability in the industry, we are here at Pamex to spread the word about our digital solutions for flexible packaging, especially water-based pigmentation, and, of course, customer acquisition,” Chopra said.

Chopra said they are pushing their machines in the European market. One machine is also running in Mumbai.

Anticipating a brighter future for the packaging and signage industries, Chopra said they are growing markets. He says there’s a shift towards UV as solvent printing is going down and customers are looking for good quality and high-speed industrial machines.

Chopra said, “At this exhibition, we were not looking for deals as investment in machines is not an overnight decision. We were there to make more people aware of our machine and technology.”
