Over the years, Kolkata-based Sarala Art Press has been a purchaser of machines from Monotech Systems. Adding to its production facility, it has got a Ricoh Pro 8300S, a digital production press with advanced features.
Incorporated as a complete graphic arts solutions provider in 1989, Sarala Art Press offers everything about printing under one roof. Ardhendu Sekhar Rao, owner of Sarala Art Press, says, “We are equipped with machines of almost all technologies comprising offset, digital large-format, screen, digital presses, and others to provide our customers everything they want.”
Rao says Sarala indulges in the printing and production of almost all graphic applications. “You just name it, we print it! Right from business cards up to digitally printed large-format promotional outdoor graphics, we are proud to provide everything for our customers who come to us from all over Kolkata as well as many other cities and towns of West Bengal and Eastern India.”

“Our cordial partnership with Monotech Systems started around one decade or so ago. Since then we have purchased quite a few machines from them. This newly purchased Ricoh Pro 8300S digital monochrome production press is the second Ricoh Pro from them. This new monochrome press is complementing the formerly installed Ricoh Pro C5300S, which is an ideal digital color production press delivering vibrant colors,” mentions Rao, adding, “Even we fully rely on Monotech Systems’ Pixeljet series wide-format printer for our signage graphics.”
Rao continues, “Following the installation of the Ricoh Pro 8300S, we feel like fulfilling our customers’ increasing demands for short-run monochrome jobs to the fullest satisfaction. This digital press is indeed a robust machine with advanced features.” Of course, the Ricoh Pro 8300S is robustly engineered to run at the speed of 96 ppm (pages per minute). In addition, it prints monochrome documents in industry-leading 2400×4800 dpi resolution on a broad range of light and heavyweight stocks.
