Key customers of Ricoh Pro digital production presses are present both in the public or private sectors. The Government Press in Lucknow, which is under the directorate of printing & stationery, government of Uttar Pradesh, is one Ricoh Pro customer whose printing setup has been upgraded with the installation of a Ricoh Pro 8320S from Monotech Systems.

Om Sai Trading Enterprises, based in Ballabhgarh at Faridabad in Haryana, is Monotech Systems’ regional channel partner that delivered the Ricoh Pro 8320S digital monochrome production press to the Government Press. “Being a regional channel partner of Monotech Systems, we also take care of the distributorship of Ricoh digital production presses in North India,” says Amit Singh, proprietor of Om Sai Trading Enterprises.

He adds, “When the Lucknow branch of Government Press approached us for a digital production press for their exclusive task of printing black and white documents, we introduced them to the Ricoh Pro 8320S. And This is our first monochrome digital production press ever delivered to one of our valued customers. We hope for more to be installed in future. Every single feature of the press fulfils everything that Government Press has desired in terms of print quality and productivity.”

With a dignified background of a glorious history of more than 150 years, Government Presses in Uttar Pradesh supply stationery items to all government departments across the state. The first Government Press in the state was opened in Allahabad after being shifted from Agra. Including the Lucknow branch of Government Press where the Ricoh Pro 8320 is installed, as on today four Government Presses and an affiliated stationery store are running actively across the state.

“In fact, the Ricoh Pro 8320S has enhanced Government Press’ print quality of monochrome documents to a new level. This digital production press is ideally designed for printing exceptionally sharp black & white documents which any other digital press in its class can’t easily pull off,” says Singh, emphasising some advanced features of the press. “This digital press can run at the maximum speed of 136 ppm (pages per minute), churning on a broad range of light and heavyweight stocks up to 350 gsm,” he adds.

He continues, “The Ricoh Pro 8320S is designed to produce crisp monochrome prints in industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi.” Singh says that they are really delighted to be a regional partner of Monotech Systems for supplying a range of Ricoh presses now running productively at government departments, commercial print shops, mail houses, among others in many cities and towns across north India.
