Armed with India’s first Canon imagePRESS V1350 digital press that was recently commissioned at its premises, Mumbai-based print service provider Prince Graphics aims to significantly boost its digital print production capabilities and acquire new customers, Rajesh Manodra, owner of the company told Indian Printer and Publisher.
“In the contemporary printing landscape in India, the Canon imagePRESS V1350 is the only machine that offers a speed of 135 pages per minute. The high speed of the printer has considerably increased our throughput, producing 2 lakh prints in four days, compared to the 25,000 per day we used to get earlier,” Manodra said.
Manodra said Prince Graphics aims to acquire new customers with the new press. “Our jobs range from a variety of customized data printing, brochures, certificates, and other personalized offerings for different segments and media types such as stickers, boards, textures, synthetic papers, etc. With this enhanced productivity and efficiency from the V1350 every day, we aim to expand our customer base significantly, to scale business growth.”
Canon India launched the imagePRESS V1350 digital press on 30 October at the premises of Prince Graphics. Manabu Yamazaki, president and CEO, Canon India inaugurated the press.

The imagePRESS V1350 is the latest addition to Canon’s existing fleet of new-generation imagePRESS V Series printers, which includes the imagePRESS V1000/V900/V800/V700. The imagePRESS V1350 showcases a printing speed of 135 pages per minute and standard EFI Hyper RIP.
Additionally, the press supports media up to 500gsm, expanding the range of printing possibilities, and making it a versatile solution for various applications.
“We have been using Canon imagePRESS products for over 12 years and recently opted for the imagePRESS V1350 owing to its impressive print speed of 135ppm, which is 35% more than any production printers we used in the past,” Manodra said.
“Canon has been delivering the best to our business through its products, and what truly sets the brand apart is its exceptional commitment to service support. This dedication to ongoing maintenance and swift issue resolution are the reasons why we confidently ordered the V1350 machine without even requesting demo sessions,” he added.
Prince Graphics to save power, and labor costs with the new press
Not only is Prince Graphics looking to boost print volumes and expand its business, the company is also aiming to rationalize operational costs, thanks to the new press.
“The press is helping us save human resources and electricity consumption. All these, combined with an effective after-sales service, have made our daily production effortless. One of the major reasons to opt for such a high-speed machine from Canon is that it delivers what it promises. I recommend jobbers in this industry to opt for V1350 to achieve the desired high yield,” Manodra said.
What the new Canon imagePRESS offers
Manodra highlighted some of the salient features of the press. He said that to print at 135ppm, the imagePRESS V1350 Fiery Server has a powerful HYPER RIP, which can process 8 print files simultaneously, helping Prince increase its productivity on a day-to-day basis.
“With a heavy usage of almost 50,000 prints daily, this machine showcases the detailing on each print with unmatched precision in every printing task. Its real-time MULTI-DAT color correction system has helped maintain color stability during continuous runs and ensures more productivity,” he said.
“The beauty of the imagePRESS V1350 lies in its impressive duty cycle, which can handle up to 2.4 million A4 prints,” Manodra added.
