Apsom Infotex announced its exclusive distribution agreement of the new 3D wallpaper printing technology Dimense with Lithuania-based company Veika the inventor of Dimense technology. Live demo of Dimense technology and broad range of 3D custom-made wallpaper samples will be displayed at the Media Expo between 20 – 22 February 2020 in Mumbai to demonstrate the capabilities of the Dimense wallpaper printer. Dimense technology allows designing unique structures and colour combinations, to create one-of-a-kind innovative printing solutions.
Dimense technology does exactly what its name implies – it ‘dimenses’ digital printing. This pioneering technology makes it possible to print unique embossing at the same time as the item is digitally printed at virtually any size and without repeating the embossing pattern. So structure and motif can perfectly match one another, or the structure only, different than the picture itself – it all depends on the designer’s creativity.
The Dimensor printer allows continuous printing and embossing simultaneously. It consists of two main components – inkjet printer and calender. Dimense technology inherited the possibility of printing tailor-made images of any size from digital printing and the effective formation of physical structure from the wallpaper industry. The combination of both allows printing unique and unseen digitally structured images, adding both colour and dimension to your prints.
Dimense offers output with high resistance quality and does not fade in direct light, which makes it perfect for high traffic areas such as hotels, retail and corporate environments. It can print at speeds of up to 30sqm/hr with a print width of 1.6m. Dimense is an environmentally friendly technology based on latex eco-friendly inks and PVC-free structure-forming Ecodeco media.
