FIPP Asia will take place in Wuhan, China, in partnership with the China Periodicals Association and Hubei Administration.

The event will bring together the world’s leading magazine media publishers and industry suppliers to explore the latest trends and solutions from the region and beyond.

The event will consist of a two day conference (14-15 September) with speakers from around the world and an adjacent expo (14-16 September) attracting some 100,000 people across the 3 days.

Who should attend FIPP Asia?

FIPP Asia presents an ideal opportunity for publishers, marketers and technologists at senior level operational and strategic positions, network and do actual business.

It will be an opportunity to learn from speakers from China and other markets around the world, to network with Chinese and international delegates and to discuss business opportunities in China and beyond.

The expo will provide international delegates with an opportunity to first-hand sample media and technology offerings, and discuss market developments in-depth with those in attendance.

As Ross Sleight, a keynote speaker at the FIPP World Congress in London in 2017 said, “if you want to know the way of the world tomorrow, it is a pretty good idea to look at China right now.”

Message from current CEOs:

James Hewes, president and CEO of FIPP

We are delighted to be partnering with the China Periodicals Association (CPA) and the Hubei Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (HAP) to be holding the 6th edition of FIPP Asia in the fantastic city of Wuhan, China.

For the first time, FIPP Asia will be part of the China Periodicals Fair, a biennial event attracting exhibitors from across China and visitors from across the region. More than 100,000 people are expected to pass through the doors of the Hubei Exhibition Centre, giving international exhibitors a unique opportunity to reach Chinese businesses and consumers.

The FIPP Asia conference strand also promises to be a crucial networking and knowledge-sharing opportunity for anyone interested in publishing and media in the region. More than 150 senior international delegates from the publishing and media industries will join more than 250 delegates from China.

The programme will see presentations and discussions from a host of international speakers and the cream of the Chinese digital and media industries.

Concluding with an optional tour of local publishers, FIPP Asia is a ‘must attend’ event for anyone serious about learning more and doing business in China and beyond.

In 2024, we are looking at full recovery and growth-led investment in Indian printing

Indian Printer and Publisher founded in 1979 is the oldest B2B trade publication in the multi-platform and multi-channel IPPGroup. It created the category of privately owned B2B print magazines in the country. And by its diversification in packaging, (Packaging South Asia), food processing and packaging (IndiFoodBev) and health and medical supply chain and packaging (HealthTekPak), and its community activities in training, research, and conferences (Ipp Services, Training and Research) the organization continues to create platforms that demonstrate the need for quality information, data, technology insights and events.

India is a large and tough terrain and while its book publishing and commercial printing industry have recovered and are increasingly embracing digital print, the Indian newspaper industry continues to recover its credibility and circulation. The signage industry is also recovering and new technologies and audiences such as digital 3D additive printing, digital textiles, and industrial printing are coming onto our pages. Diversification is a fact of life for our readers and like them, we will also have to adapt with agility to keep up with their business and technical information needs.

India is one of the fastest growing economies in nominal and real terms – in a region poised for the highest change in year to year expenditure in printing equipment and consumables. Our 2024 media kit is ready, and it is the right time to take stock – to emphasize your visibility and relevance to your customers and turn potential markets into conversations.
