The 25th edition of Delhi Book Fair, organized by India Trade Promotion Organization, will take place from 11-15 September 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organized in association with the Federation of Indian Publishers, Delhi Book Fair plays a pivotal role in reiterating the might of the pen and the printed world and is awaited by students, teachers, scholars, authors, intellectuals, librarians and book lovers.
Apart from promoting literacy and reading habits, especially among children and the youth, the fair presents a vast panorama of Indian books on a wide range of subjects. The fair provides a unique platform for business to business transactions, establishing new contacts, entering into co-publishing arrangements, translation and copyright arrangements, reprinting of old and rare books, apart from providing retailing opportunities to a multitude of visitors to the fair. A number of conferences and seminars, buyer-seller meets, book releases, book discussions, literary activities for children and author meet-ups will be organized during the fair.
The fair will run concurrently with the 21st Stationery Fair and 5th Office Automation and Corporate Gift Fair, a B2B affair. The timings of the fair are 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
