Valmet has been selected by Sappi Southern Africa to deliver a full EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) package for the replacement of recovery boiler components at the Saiccor Mill in South Africa. This upgrade of critical boiler parts will improve operational safety, reduce the risk of unplanned downtime and improve overall reliability of the mill.

This upgrade is an important step in maintaining reliable and safe operations at the Saiccor Mill. The order was included in Valmet’s orders received for the first quarter of 2026. The value of the order is not disclosed. The delivery and installation work will take place during the major outage in February 2027.
