Komori India recorded strong business momentum at Pamex 2026, securing orders for 17 sheet-fed offset presses while unveiling K-Supply, its new consumables division, during the four-day exhibition held from 27–30 January at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The company’s stand drew steady visitor traffic from both long-standing and new customers keen to explore the Advance Series sheet-fed offset presses and related automation solutions.
The company said the launch of K-Supply marks its formal entry into supplying pressroom consumables, positioning Komori India as a more comprehensive solutions partner for printers and packaging converters across the country.
Jun Sudo, president, Komori India, stated that the introduction of K-Supply was the company’s substantial entry into the supply of consumables. “With this, we aim to emerge as a one-stop solution provider where our clients can grab everything from one source. After all, this launch of K-Supply is a natural extension of Komori’s age-old philosophy centred on Kando, which implies delivering ‘satisfaction’ beyond expectations of their customers,” he adds.
Initially, K-Supply will offer products including Conventional Fount Solution, Combi Fount Solution, Conventional Wash, UV Wash, and high-performance cleaning fluids such as KG 201, KG 202, KG 216A and KG 218. These consumables have already undergone field trials under Indian operating conditions. The rollout will begin in Delhi and the National Capital Region before expanding nationwide.
Press sales gathered pace from the opening day of the exhibition, reflecting sustained investment interest among printers looking to upgrade capacity and automation levels.
Jitender Rohilla, general manager–Sales, Komori India, said the zeal of new deals of presses started right from day one of Pamex 2026. “We sold three machines on the first day of the show. The count reached 10 on the second day. We have sold a total of 17 Enthrone and Lithrone G Series presses at the end to a host of clients, which turned out to be our existing customers and new ones,” he said.
He continued, “The printers who booked the 17 presses during Pamex 2026 are from all over India. They engage in diverse business activities around commercial, packaging, publishing, and more. Nevertheless, these new and repeat orders of presses clearly indicate that printers across the length and breadth of the country are nowadays investing in the machines with a long-term vision focusing on automation, quality, and future-ready technology.”
The machines confirmed during the show include one Lithrone G640 Advance C IR, one Lithrone GL-740A C UV IR, one GL-837P A, two Lithrone G640 Advance C UV IR, nine Lithrone G437 presses and three Enthrone G 429 presses. Orders came from printers and packaging converters located across the country, spanning the North-East, East, South, West and North India.
Apart from press technology, Komori India attracted significant attention for the MBO/H+H folding system, aimed at high-end commercial and pharmaceutical finishing applications. The company showcased its digital ecosystem capabilities through demonstrations of KP-Connect, its cloud-based platform designed to help printers monitor production and optimize business operations.
Overall, Komori India said its performance at Pamex 2026 underscored continued demand for advanced automation-enabled presses, while the introduction of K-Supply signals a broader strategy to strengthen long-term customer partnerships through integrated service and consumables support.
