Khaos Technology has announced Visualis3R, an entirely new professional desktop application for realtime visualisation of print embellishments. The platform (now in private beta phase), is currently being deployed with selected strategic agencies and production printers, with a targeted commercial release in early April 2026.
Trusted Development
“Visualis3R is positioned as an independent visualisation platform for premium print workflows–focused on accuracy, realism, and respect for design intent,” said Richard Ainge, founder of Khaos Technology. “Visualis3R does not generate designs, automate creativity, or hide complexity–it shows the truth of what has already been designed, in real time.”
Ainge is also the cofounder and core developer of Color-Logic, the globally recognised metallic color communication system used across packaging, labels, and commercial print. Khaos Technology is also the developer of Touch7, an extended gamut and neon color separation system distributed worldwide though the Color-Logic reseller network.
Real World Beta Evaluation by Strategic Design Agencies and Printers
Visualis3R is currently undergoing private beta evaluation by a select group of design agencies, print service provider and production specialists. This controlled rollout ensures that Visualis3R is validated using real production scenarios prior to wider release.
The Visualis3R beta programme focuses on:
- Real-time visualisation of foils, varnishes, metallic inks, textures, emboss effects, and specialty finishes.
- Accurate simulation of light interaction, surface depth, and material behaviour.
- Seamless alignment with existing design and prepress workflows
Feedback from private beta partners is being used to refine performance and production accuracy ahead of launch.
OEM and Reseller Channel Led by Color-Logic
Color-Logic will lead the OEM and reseller channels for Visualis3R, extending the platform reach through established global print networks.
Khaos Technology will make Visualis3R available directly to independent designers, agencies, and printers outside reseller programmes from the v3r webstore.
This dual-channel approach will allow Visualis3R to remain vendor-neutral while benefiting from the Color-Logic established industry presence.
