Situated in Thisayanvilai, around 66km from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, Santa Creative is a new business start-up engaging in high-quality digital printing. The shop has started its digital printing journey for commercial graphics and finished products following the installation of a brand new Canon imagePRESS V700 digital color production press from Canon India.

Santa Creative was established as a graphic design firm in 2016. “With a deep understanding of what our clients want, we have eventually included digital printing in business. Now, our clients who come to us for graphic designing can get their works printed right away because we are equipped with the advanced iPR V700. This new Canon digital color production press is fully packed with all advanced features and capabilities which we had been looking for,” says Antony S, proprietor of Santa Creative.

Antony says, “We had done a kind of market survey extensively when we planned to buy a brand new and highly-capable digital color production press. A number of company representatives had invited us to various live demonstrations of uncountable numbers of digital presses from many brands other than Canon. At the end of the day, we switched to iPR V700 because the parameters of this Canon digital press meet all what we need.”

Built compact in a small footprint for oversized production of high-end and textured graphics, iPR V700 is truly a digital production system capable of catering graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi. It’s not only the print quality but also the media versatility for which this Canon digital press is known for. It prints on wide varieties of thin and thick stocks starting from 52 gsm up to 350 gsm, at an unprecedented speed of 70 A4 ppm (pages per minute).

Anthony says the iPR V700’s capability to handle the thick media up to 350gsm has opened up a new opportunity for them to work for applications like posters and such graphics which any other print shop in Thisayanvilai town could ever produce. He informs, “With this Canon digital press, we crack a new dawn of digital printing in the town, offering impressive print applications.” Unconventional media which iPR V700 efficiently handles are covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1300 mm in length.

“Now that we are fully empowered with a highly-versatile and capable Canon digital press in the town, it’s our invitation to everyone around, either our regular customers or anybody new, to Santa Creative to grab the choice of quality and innovative graphic prints ever available in Thisayanvilai,” says Antony. He thanked team Canon India for the iPR V700 and the post-sales support.
